Details

Jan Willem Mijnlief (1862-1937) bought the tile factory in 1894.

The factory was located at the Vaartse Rijn in city Utrecht and during the leadership of J.W. Mijnlief it acquired the international fame.

Moreover, in 1900 after a presentation of Art Nouveau pottery at the World Exhibition in Paris, the interest and the export of the goods produced by the factory grew significantly.
