Utrecht was known for its high-quality faience and tile factories. These wall tiles were used only for decorative purposes. The tile and faience factory Ravesteyn-Westraven has been founded in 1904.
In their characteristic blue and white, with elaborately painted landscapes and pictures of everyday life, the antique tiles are an extremely original and unique element in old, vintage, or modern interior. This example presents tiles placed in the kitchen of the Dutch house from 1884.
