Tegelveld van vier tegels - ster motief ca. 1625/ Compilation of four antique tiles with the star motif ca. 1625

These particular tiles are decorated with a variety of symbolical fruits such as pomegranates (life), grapes (fertility), and oranges (abundance). Additionally, the composition had been enriched with colorful tulips, a flower that is so distinctive for The Netherlands. The matching four tiles which are connected with their inner corners create a Moorish star motif in the middle.
